Executing External Commands with SM49:
1) We normally have to login into system command prompt to execute commands at OS level. for example:-
2) However we can execute OS level commands by Tcode - SM49 in SAP itself.
Select any particular command:-
Press Execute and give the additional parameters in the following screen
On executing :-
We can see the output in the bottom window ( Refer the above screen-shot ) . :)
Similarly we can execute other commands and even schedule them as jobs .
On pressing on JOB we get
